LinkedIn is so dominant in professional networking that we forget that there are sometimes other ways of creating professional links independently of Microsoft's social network. Spotlight on Networking Premium Group (NPG), which CEO and founder Alain Marty describes as a powerful lever for professional success.
DigitalCMO - Can you tell us about the Networking Premium Group (NPG)?
Alain Marty - The core business of the Networking Premium Group is our outplacement service based on Networking and dedicated to Executive Committee members in career transition. We also manage board member recruitment for start-ups, SMEs and ETIs. We currently have five search mandates for independent directors. Finally, we offer networking training, mainly via e-learning, to optimise internal, external and international networks.
DigitalCMO - Can you tell us about your outplacement service? What are the main objectives?
Alain Marty - It is based 100% on networking, which is a unique offer in Europe.Called the "Networking Business Package", this programme is aimed exclusively at Executive Committee members in career transition, offering them the chance to take part in over 100 networking events a year, organised by influential clubs, circles and networks (conferences, breakfasts, lunches, afterworks or dinners). The NPG offers a ‘network’ approach to allow people to meet the decision-makers of the companies in which they wish to rebound. One-to-one meetings are also organised within the target companies. A networking coach accompanies each candidate on a daily basis to guide them through the jungle of networking. We also place our candidates ‘pro bono’ in start-ups and foundations to enable them to continue to ‘exist’. If necessary, we also offer traditional transition coaching.
DigitalCMO - The NPG offers a recruitment service for independent directors. What are the advantages for start-ups, SMEs and ETIs that use this service?
Alain Marty - The NPG has a database of over 200,000 contacts and decision-makers. A significant number of these people are interested in becoming independent directors. This diversity and richness enables us to be very agile and to respond very quickly to the needs of our clients - start-ups, SMEs and, above all, ETIs. The NPG also offers an Advisory Board service, enabling SMEs that are not legally obliged to set up a board made up of experts.
